Resolved - Trimmed leading and trailing spaces when updating participant information (First Name, Last Name, Email, and Mobile Number) through the profile to help prevent issues when claiming participant records

Added Club Rating data to the information sent to the Club Finder

Fixed a bug where the Copy URL feature always redirected participants to the Admin sign‑in page

PlayFootball Release Notes (20th of October 2026)
Resolved - Released the new Single Sign‑On (SSO) experience between Football Account and PlayFootball, including:

The existing participant sign‑in page has been decommissioned. Existing sign‑in links will automatically redirect users to the standard football account sign‑in experience

A PlayFootball splash screen is now displayed for 3 seconds before the sign‑in page when users access PlayFootball sign‑in links, helping them understand they are signing in to PlayFootball.

Existing PlayFootball links, Club Finder links, product links, and registration links will continue to work as normal. If sign‑in is required, users will be redirected to standard football account sign‑in and then returned to their original destination within PlayFootball.

Signing in to PlayFootball will automatically sign the user into Football Account, and users who are already signed in to Football Account will automatically be signed in to PlayFootball, removing the need to sign in multiple times

Signing out of PlayFootball will also sign the user out of Football Account, and signing out of Football Account will sign the user out of PlayFootball.

The Admin sign‑in experience remains largely unchanged, apart from the removal of the “Not an Admin?” link. The Admin domain has also been updated, with existing links automatically redirecting to the new domain.

PlayFootball Release Notes (15th of October 2026)
Resolved - Displayed the name of the parent organisation on the Organisation Details page

Implemented a fix to prevent duplicate participant records from being created when a session issue occurs during registration. Participants will now be redirected to sign in again and can continue their registration without creating duplicate participant records.

Updated Find a Product to default to an Organisation search when no organisation has been pre-selected. Where an organisation has already been selected (e.g. via Club Finder), the search will remain defaulted to Product search

Removed the service fee line from all payment screens

Hidden the service fee section from receipts where no service fee was charged

Added a retry screen when the payment iframe fails to load within 20 seconds

Fixed a bug where the external voucher discount breakdown was displayed incorrectly when an external voucher was used with the “Regulation Fees Only” payment option

Fixed a bug where Admins were unable to roll over a private registration type to a different season

Fixed a bug where guardians were unable to upload a WWCC on behalf of a family member during the registration flow

Fixed a bug where guardians were unable to request a WWCC Exemption on behalf of a family member through the Family Member Profile
